Every April, we have to renew our Austin Film Society membership. And every April, we marvel at how awesome a deal it is. In addition to AFS Essentials (their free weekly film series), the AFS also hosts a ton of premieres, work-in-progress screenings, workshops, documentary screenings and free sneak peeks throughout the year.

Tonight, the AFS will present a sneak screening of Dark Matter, Chen Shi-Zheng's dark drama inspired by a true story. Dark Matter follows Liu Xing, a Chinese science student who comes to America to pursue a Ph.D. in science. But after struggling to find his place, he becomes frustrated with his failures, and is eventually pushed toward lonliness and violence.

Dark Matter won the Alfred P. Sloan prize winner at last year's Sundance Film Festival, and we're pretty sure you'll like it. Advanced ticketing is closed, but we have some sets to give away! Just fill out the form below for a chance to win!

This contest is closed. Thanks to all who entered!
