Art City Austin Promises Art Utopia

Art will take over Austin this weekend during a two-day outdoor event aimed at bringing hundreds of artists together to create what organizers call a “temporary art utopia.”

Presented by Art Alliance Austin and the city’s longest running art fair, Art City Austin begins with a variety of Art Talks by featured artists and culminates in outdoor displays, music and food on the steps of City Hall.

The work of more than 200 visual artists, community art installations and special temporary outdoor gallery spaces (aka TOGS) will be featured at Art City Austin from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
