Wine and Food Festival Preview: Zen Nation After Party at Action Figure Studios

It’s Saturday night. You’ve finished up at the Rare and Fine Wine Auction at the Four Seasons or the "Wine and Food - A New Look at Flavor" class at the Central Market Cooking School and just don’t feel like going home yet. Forget the sharks at Qua or the other sharks at Pangaea and head to the Zen Nation After Party at Action Figure Studios. A new event in this year's quiver of festival firsts, Zen Nation will take place at Action Figure's East Austin Studios and will feature signature cocktails, celebrity sightings (ostensibly) and music by DJ Charanga Cakewalk.

A more upscale and downtempo showcase for big name chefs and fine dining than the festival's staple Sunday Fair, the evening will feature the culinary work of chefs Aarón Sanchez and Imperia's Joseph Tellus. Ecco Domani wines will be front and center, and celebrity Mixologists Alex Ott and Lu Brow will be on hand - as well as guests Joey Campanaro of West Village eatery Little Owl, Top Chef's Tre Wilcox, Bob Waggoner, Danny Trace, Josh Wesson, Michael Bonadies and speaker Josh Wesson.
