<description>&lt;p&gt;Whatevs. The Corner miniseries was one of the most searing, affecting things I&apos;ve ever seen on TV. TK Carter&apos;s lead performance as the hapless drug addict Gary was one of the most empathetic things I&apos;ve ever seen. 

Incredibly bleak, though. Made The Wire look like Schoolhouse Rock.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

*Whatever you do, avoid the mini-series that was made from it which shares the name.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
