That is one crafty campaign strategy there, Mauro. Openly insult and berate the opposition's supporters, and then rely on identity politics to win the general? Fantastic. Great direction for the party.

Obviously you can only use the "I don't know anything about this candidate, but I'm voting for him/her anyway" in determining the president.

The same practice can't be used in selecting the Travis County Tax Assessor!

Just because they voted for Obama and didn't vote in the other races doesn't mean that they don't know a thing about him. If you vote for other people because one is named Sam Houston and another one isn't named Fidel and you've seen that other name on TV it doesn't mean you're informed about who could best represent you. If you don't vote in those races it doesn't mean you're ignorant. It doesn't mean you withheld your vote because you were allowing other people who knew more about those races make the decisions for you. There are a whole lot of reasons people didn't vote down the ballot last week and assuming you know who voted for whom and why they did or did not vote is irresponsible journalism.
