Flatstock 16 Poster Convention @ SXSW 2008

In case you hadn't realized, music poster art and design is a a medium all its own. The creative effort that goes into each print and poster is a labor of love, artists finding new and inventive ways to combine elements from a band's own vision, their own voice, as well as actual information.

During SXSW, over at the Convention Center, music lovers, designers, artists and art appreciators can check out posters from a wide variety of designers from around the world. Previous Flatstock conventions have included works by Aesthetic Apparatus, Mark Pedini, Iskra Print Collective and hundreds more, and we expect many of these names to reappear on the walls of the Convention Center this weekend.

Admission is free, and everything is for sale so hit the ATM before going over.
