Green Drinks gets computer savvy this month with a focus on greening computer usage and IT. Rebecca Thorburn, a member of the Climate Savers Computing Initiative, will be on hand to discuss the non-profit organization's dedication to promoting climate conservation through the widespread deployment of energy efficient hardware and power management software.

With expertise in Green IT Marketing, Rebecca has always been an advocate of the environment and continues to promote sustainability through her involvement with the initiative. CSCI was formed by Google, Intel and the WWF (World Wide Fund For Nature) in June 2007. Individuals are encouraged to participate by using power management tools on their PCs and by purchasing energy-efficient components in the future.

Stop by Opal Divines on Friday to share your green computer woes and learn how you can make a difference in your own home or workplace.
