The increased self-worth is palpable, switching from 4 wheels to 2. But then you get hooked, and it becomes an increasingly difficult dragon to chase.

Thankfully, so are you.

What about flowers upon hospital admittance, say come May, June, July, August and September?

Oh Righteous One, good for you!

I like to put put my bike in the back of my truck and just leave it there and then drive around so everyone can see that I usually bike everywhere. Also I don't have to help people move because my bike is back there.

Alright, no more tomfoolery I am buying a damn bike this weekend. This post reminded me what a doosh I'm being, yet it was hilarious at the same time. Thank you.

For the record, I DO ride a bike to work.

AND I have a truck (his name is Red Rocket).

You can call me when you need help moving, but I might just tell you 'no'. You should be okay with that.

I totally thought this was serious until the Nader thing.

Well, the mac was kind of a tipoff, but the Nader thing was exactly the right touch.

Ha ha, douchebag cyclists.

Sarcasm doesn't translate... ? Seriously? NO. FUCKERING. WAY.

That's why it's best to go with mockery. Sure, it's somewhat childish. But just like other childish methods of communication:

It's effective.

Sarcasm by mockery: Mockasm. Morcasm? Marcasm?

Lunch time.

I once thought about getting a bumper sticker that read, "My ex-boyfriend drives a hybrid." Because it was true, and because it nicely summed up the fact that I was more of a man than he was. I'm a rancher's daughter and drive an extended cab F-150 without apology. I know that makes me a terrible person in the eyes of many of you. To which I say, "Don't call me when you need help moving."

Dodging death does make one feel better than Bourne, and everyone else, for that matter. Well, until you get a tire full of glass outside that one bus-stop. Yeah, I'm winking at you, Loyola Lane.

if you started riding a fixed-gear bike, then yes, I shall call you "fag-face". Otherwise, welcome to the world of two-wheeled superiority.

Oh, I didn't mean the kind of LOVE in Ron Paul's rLOVEtion. Sorry about the confusion. I meant the kind that isn't evil.

truecraig, my vehicle is two bikes welded together with crossbeams made out of nothing but LOVE and STARSHINE. It bears an engine which drives the bicycle gears on nothing but goodwill. (Sometimes I fill the tank with petroleum in a pinch, but it's made by squeezing Care Bears in a press, which is pretty much the same thing as liquid goodwill). The enclosure, made of sheet metal which I'm assured that some well-meaning gent had to do some sort of dance to ask the Earth to volunteer in a spirit of loving togetherness, exists not to shelter me from the world, but to protect the world from anything I might utter in a weak moment of bile.

It looks like a Prius, but trust me, it's really two bikes and all that other shit.

dammit, I miss my bike.

Yes, it appears to me that righteous indignation is a skill which humans must be forced to unlearn.

I like "waddledry", even though I have no idea what it means.

fuck yeah.

There's no power like pedal power. I got home yesterday from work in 7 minutes on my bike, it made me feel better than anything I've known recently, so what if I almost got creamed by turning cars?
