Texas Sets Football Season-Ticket Prices; Spring Practice Begins Friday

A season ticket for the Longhorns' seven home football games this year will cost you $385, according to the Statesman's Bevo Beat blog.

The last time Texas had seven home games on the schedule was 2006. Season tickets that year cost $20 less.

The season-ticket cost is 28 percent lower than if you were to buy individual game tickets, which range from $60 to $90. The most expensive ticket for the season is the Texas-OU game in Dallas, a face value of $95.

In other Longhorn football news, just 57 days after beating Arizona State in the Holiday Bowl, Texas is set to begin spring practice on Friday.

The Longhorns' first two practices of the spring will be open to fans, and the annual Spring Jamboree scrimmage is set for 1 pm on March 29.

This weekend's open practices begin at 3:45 pm Friday, followed by a 9 am workout on Saturday. Both practices will be held at Frank Denius Fields (corner of 26th St. and Red River) and are open to the public.
