- The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed new rules regarding pharmaceuticals. The rules would "allow drug and device makers to provide doctors with copies of medical journal articles that discuss product uses that have not been vetted or approved by the FDA." The rules also state that drug companies won't be required to adequately test the unapproved use in question. Sounds like a pretty good deal for drug companies, eh?
