Ok let me help.

I lived in Houston all my life then went to UT for 4 years and then lived in Austin for 2 years after that. I have seen radiohead on every tour in Houston (Woodlands). There is a true story about Radiohead and Houston. Once they opened for REM and the crowd loved them so much that Tom told the crowd no matter what they would always come back! TRUE I was there when he said it! That sounds dumb but he kept his word! In 2001 they did songs that they did ONCE on that tour, the Houston show! THREE Encores, THREE. The show was 3 hours long!!!! So if you go to Dallas you will get a good show, but go to the woodlands for the best show you will ever see! No Kidding!

I like the one in Houston, and I've been told that it's better than the one in Dallas. Smaller capacity, too - 13,000 compared to 20,000 in Dallas.

I might do both

Interesting fact: Live Nation has absolutely no venues in Austin, which is probably why we've been bypassed :( The good news? Perhaps Radiohead will play Lollapalooza.

I've never been to either of those venues -- does anyone recommend one over the other?
