As we mentioned last week, Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama is setting up one of his campaign headquarters in Austin for the upcoming Texas Primary. Today we found out that the location for the offices will be downtown Austin, on the second floor of the old Frost Bank building at 816 Congress Avenue.
There's a grand opening party scheduled for next Saturday morning at 10am, which is open to the general public. From what we're told, this site will serve as the campaign's Travis County headquarters, though it's unlikely that Obama himself will return to Austin before March 4.

Interesting factoid: those campaign offices will be right next door to the Republican Party of Texas offices (housed above Prosperity Bank).
