I'm totally willing to pay $50 a day without knowing the bands. I've been every year and every year it's a blast and every year I've seen amazing shows. I doubt September is going to come around, they release the artists performing, and I'll regret that I bought tickets.

People bitch so much about ACL and SXSW being so expensive. They're not designed to be charitable acts of musical goodness.

$145 last year to $170 this year is a 17% increase. The discounted tickets were 25% more this year. That is all.

Fuck this, they're just taking advantage of us. The people who would actually need discounted tickets probably can't afford just to throw down $150 without knowing any of the acts playing. I say it's fair to release tickets when they release the line-up - they're going to sell out anyways, so why exploit us?
