Think a giant, disembodied penis coming out of the sky to crush a frantic little animated cinnamon bun is funny? If you said "no", quit trying to act all genteel and get over to the Alamo Downtown for this year's edition of Spike and Mike's Sick & Twisted animation fest. If you said "yes", then definitely go.

Not only will all the most debauched, raunchy little animated movies you could hope for be shown (including new ones from Austin animator Bob Ray, who will be at the shows in person on Feb 1 and 2 at 9:45 and midnight), but the Alamo staff also promises to do a pre-screening before the real show starts of all the little clips they found this past year that were just too wrong to show before the screenings of "The Golden Compass", or whatever (and members of the audience will get to suggest clips, too).

Plus, there will be games and you'll be able to buy DVDs from previous years of the fest in the lobby, in case you can't get enough of this stuff. Which, come on, you totally can't. (Here is the YouTube clip of the cinnamon bun's comeuppance, by the way. And here is a completely Not Safe for Work 40 second preview of the show.)
