Coffey Talk: Would You Like Some Advice?

Austinist is considering offering a weekly advice column in the vein of Dear Abby, Salon's Cary Tennis, and Slate's Dear Prudence (among other columnized advice givers). We need your help in getting this started.

Need some advice about life, love, or something else that's been nagging you? Send us an email with the specifics, and we'll pick two or three to respond to in Coffey Talk. We'd like your input in this as well, dear readers, so please let us know if this is something that you'd like to see again.

Background: Alison Coffey holds a Master's degree in Counseling, and has been practicing counseling in various capacities for the last few years. A staff writer for Austinist ("on and off") since its beginning, she generally subscribes to the existential and humanistic views on psychology, psychotherapy and life. Irvin Yalom is her personal hero.

God, I know. I thought I saw him the other day at the place where all the people hang out and I almost pigeon-toed myself into a fuss.

Then, I crapped myself. What does that mean?!
