I'm surprised that folks are just finding out about Canadian being a racial slur for blacks....it's been in use in the restaurant world for at least 10 years....when I was a waiter it was always "hey Q,you got a four top of Canadians in your section,start pouring them some grape soda" or some stupid shit like that....
Ditto that.
Actually, I believe 'Canadian' is already out of style with the bigots.

Is it possible he meant liberals but didn't want to offend the French?
Like I said last time this topic was brought up, I heard people using Canadian in this way in high school in probably 95 and possibly earlier. I'm also a yankee, so this is definitely not confined to the south.
