Austinist Weekend Music Preview: Slideshow Version!
Also this weekend, the Zachary Scott Theatre Center kicks off its 75th Anniversary Season with George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. This special production is inspired by the city of New Orleans as well as the music of Ray Charles, Nina Simone, and Louis Armstrong, among others. The show runs for two weeks at the Austin Music Hall and you can purchase tickets here.

Thursday -- Swiss brings back the '90s at Emo's Lounge.
Friday -- Tia Carrera rocks Room 710 early at 8:30 p.m. as a part of their monthly, free happy hour series at the bar built with lots of THC. Tomorrow's show is entitled Dream Sessions and is inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr.
Saturday -- Don't miss a special Golden Arm Trio show at Lambert's -- Come check out Graham Reynolds' arrangements of Duke Ellington classics!
