- Villa Muse, the behemoth studio city project going up 15 miles east of downtown Austin, is requesting that the City of Austin release 1,900 acres of its extra territorial jurisdiction. In other words, as Villa Muse grows in physical acreage, the project's investors are becoming more and more concerned with property tax and zoning control issues with the City.
