Tom Cruise is one crazy honker. That's my new slur for white people, honker. He wants to go on vacation and romp and play and frolick but he can't because all you people need help. That's sad.

Conan, I think you completely missed the point of the "Canadian" as a slur article. South Park skewered Canadians, as in, those people that live north of the US.

So many topics, so many thoughts.

1)On the Autism vaccination link. My wife is a Speech Pathologist for Pflugerville ISD who works with a lot of autistic kids at the elementary schools. The parents of the kids tend to be Accountants, Computer Programmers, Engineers, or other professions that work with numbers. If Autism (a spectrum of disorders, not just kids who rock back and forth or savants like Rainman)was a communicable disease, the area around Dell/Samsung would be a "Hot Zone".

2)Canadians- South Park did it first

3)The Tom Cruise video. Be afraid, be very afraid. The thought of him going to someone pinned in a car after a wreck and saying "It's your fault because you let the Thetans control your thoughts" as the blood oozes out of the victim's mouth is especially scary to me because I've seen a person impaled on a steering wheel (pre-Nader 1950s model)of a car, and have administered first aid many times. Pray for Katie Holmes.

4) UFOs- of course people out in the country are going to notice them. Unlike other towns in the metroplex, their heads are stuck up their rectums, or contemplating their navels.

I've also heard the epithet "Mexican" used as a racist slang term for Mexicans.

I never heard anybody using it, but the whole thing reads like a mother asking the other Ladies Who Lunch, "Is it crack?" in a whisper while holding up a baggie of roaches.

best part of the canadian story was that I heard people using it 15 years ago in high school.

Best part of the Canadian story is the typo in this sentence, "She ... assumed they must be talking abut someone else."
