Craigslist: Missed Connections

As we move to the next square on the calendar you're still out there trying to make a connection. Sadly you let most of them slip by without saying a word. We understand, no one wants to be overzealous and get shot down. If only you had some place to find a second chance. Oh yes, Missed Connections. If only you had someone to sort through and find the best of the above. Oh, right, read below....

to my ex-gf

so i went over there to bang the living hell out of you one last time but i think you'll see me again. only thing is it will be in your hot new roommates bedroom across the hall. you know when i met her that night that she wanted to be the one that i was slamming. you know she was listening to us. i made sure to give her a performance that she'll be thinking about over and over. going to see her at her work tonight. i'm sure you'll be surprised when you get up for your coffee in the morning. or maybe we'll wake you up. * Location: bedroom next to you

If Seinfeld couldn't do it then neither can you, but you can certainly have fun before they both kick you out.

you should think it over

i simply do not get it how you can walk in here and walk all over me then take your clothes out in that stupid yellow suitcase on rollers that we bought in Madrid and how you then had the nerve to go through the CD's claiming Helen Redy was yours when we both know we bought that as a joke for your brother when he got back from "camp." i am sick of your telling me we're over when you know we aren't, that's an idle threat to keep me replaying these scenarios in my head. why does it have to be like this. why can't you go back to the way it used to be baby when you couldn't wait to see me...when all i wanted was to see you one more time to tell you i love you...

We're having a flashback to our college years. First it starts with the crepes, then it's the bed, then it's your friends, and it just never ends. We're smelling straight up Cyprus crazy here, the worst kind, and we suggest you run as fast as you can!

You Caught Me Staring Out the Peephole at You

First off, sorry about that. Secondly, I didn't even know people outside could see someone inside looking out (kind of destroys the purpose of a peephole, huh?). So good spotting on your part.

The thing is, we've gotten off on the wrong foot as neighbors - though as we haven't actually exchanged words in the six months I've lived here, I'm not sure how that happened. If it has to do with the shoes that my fiance (and sometimes myself) leave outside our door, you'll notice that we've been trying harder in the last couple of weeks to minimize that. If that truly upsets you - I wish you'd knock on our door and let us know.

So, again - I'm sorry for looking out at you. When I've been cooped up all day in the apartment, I often look out just to see what I can see. I'm just a little curious to see what's going on. I didn't mean to upset you, or to give you the impression I was spying on you or anything.

We're pretty nice people when you get to know us. If you ever want a cup of coffee sometime, knock on our door.

Here's hoping you check out CL sometimes.

Sincerely,

Your Apologetic and Embarrassed Neighbor

Looks like we're working with an All Seinfeld cast today. First the swap and now the peepholes. We've just got one suggestion, "Levels Jerry, Levels!!"

weird bar night - m4w

Yeah, so like.. im having a good time in Coyote Ugly and next thing I know I was being dragged out in handcuffs by a policeman who im thankful was there cause that guy was crazy... anyways, I cant remember your name but you were an ebony goddess, and i wanted to give you my number before that psycho choked me out (i dunno why i think he looked at my dick in the bathroom and got jealous).. anyways, email me I'd love to chat sometime

It's all fun until someone is hauled to jail. Almost impossible to pick up a chick on the way out the bar headed to jail, but we will refer you to last week's attempt at picking up someone else in booking. Try that next time!!

You love looking at missed connections

You love looking at these missed connections, searching whenever you have the chance and an available internet connection, to see if someone has sent you a message on craigslist.

you click each post and wonder if some voluptuos vixen noticed you at the video store, or perhaps at the bar, or perhaps driving around while you're working. Or maybe its that girl with dreadlocks you see all the time at the library or maybe its that other girl you bumped into while getting gas.

youre just hoping that today is the day that your "missed connection" will be mutual and cosmic and craigslist will bring you to her, to the "one".

because god forbid the girl who really loves you unconditionally and thinks youre near perfect, god forbid you already know her.

maybe you should try to at least consider that the only missed connection youre actually missing is with the person who has always been there all along.

Sweet, thanks for the advice! We'll keep looking. It certainly keeps us busy while you're running your yap all day. Were you saying something???

That's it for this week. If we missed any of your favorites
just post them for us all to view. We'll be back next week with a new
round up. Until then, may you find Peace, Love and
Connections.
