Chuck Klosterman has reminded me that John Cusak ruined "romance" for everyone by giving "nice guys" the inkling of a thought that they might actually get the "platonic friend" (aka "Say Anything" or any of those sappy John Hughes Films). I couldn't agree more. And he says it so much more eloquently than me in "Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs"
You know what, sometimes the nice guy turns around, ditches the high-maintenance headcase, and marries an awesome chick like me.
