Green drinkers gather once again this Friday at Opal Divines. On tap this month is Brandi Clark - founder of Environmentality Inc. She is also co-chair of the Austin Sustainable Business Council, past chair of the Urban Forestry Board, and founder of the AustinEcoNetwork. Her goal is to create a focal point for environmental issues and information in Austin and raise the dialog about what it means to be a socially and environmentally responsible business.

Brandi will be mingling with other green drinkers and take some time to talk about "Sustainable Intentional Communities." This is a generally inclusive term for ecovillages, co-housing, residential land trusts, student co-ops, urban housing cooperatives and other projects where people with a common vision work towards a thriving community with a defined set of goals.

Join fellow sustainable do gooders and learn about innovative solutions to deal with today's environmental and social challenges at Opal Divines on Friday.

NOTE: We originally indicated that this was happening on Thursday - it is in fact happening on Friday.
