I always appreciated the work Kier-La did for the Drafthouse, her awesome scopitones program comes immediately to mind, but I became completely endeared to her at the AFS screening of "Planet of the Vampires" / "Terrore Nello Spazio". Before the film began she came to the front of the theater dressed up in a spacesuit exactly like the crew members wore in the film.

♥♥♥

I find it hard not to admire that level of nerdery and love for a film that most people haven't even heard of.

"All the movies are rated with stars and hearts," Janisse says. "The stars rate how much screentime he has in the movie and they hearts rate how cute he is in the movie."

Oh, Kier-La. She is way too precious for Winnipeg. John K. Samson knows what I'm talking about.
