i was at the playground next to my place the other day and a bunch of kids were swinging and 'sliding' and one of the eight year-olds, reaching the apex of his swinging motion, yelled, "I FEEL SO ALIVE!" So freaking awesome, yet kind of sad, in the sense that an 8 year-old could feel jaded and not 'alive' at this point. maybe the best thing i've heard all year.
