- Senator Barack Obama returns to Austin for the "Texas Countdown to Change" rally at The Backyard
- The fabulous fashionistas of Team Fabrication put on Team Fab 5 at the Mohawk, with Til We're Blue or Destroy, Crash Gallery, The Laughing, Prom Nite, Car Stereo Wars, DJ Rubix, and, most importantly, a runway show featuring their latest designs
- The incredibly talented breakdancers of Bboy City Productions presents the "Bgirls Standup Ultimate BGirlCity Championships" at Ruta Maya
- The Paramount Theatre hosts a special screening of Ridley Scott's Blade
RunningRunner: The Final Cut, with "four minutes of never before seen new footage!"

i must've had cool runnings on my mind :)
That movie makes me cry every time i see it. I mean come on, they cross the finish line carrying their sled to the cheers of all of those who onced thought they didn't belong. Total closure for father and son, disgraced coach and the bobsled community, and a suprising friendship b/w the big dude (Yul Brenner) and little guy who carries the egg (Sanka Coffie). Jamacians named Yul Breener and Sanka Coffie...Brilliant! That movie makes me proud to be a human. Waterfalls every time.
'Nuff people say, you know they can't believe, Jamaica, we have a bobsled team...
