Austinist Show Giveaway: The Pinker Tones at Beauty Bar

The Pinker Tones had to cancel their show at the Mohawk in July but the Barcelona based duo of Mister Furia (Salvador Ray) and Professor Manso (Alex Llovet) return to Austin this Tuesday, fresh on the heels of a new remix record titled More Colours!. The Pinker Tones have two prior full-lengths, and compositions for the odd soundtrack under their belt, while they also performed on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic in April. To compensate those who had their heart set on seeing them this past summer, the kind folks at Nacional Records are giving away three pairs of tickets to their evening gig at the Beauty Bar. (The band plays End of an Ear at 4 p.m. as well.) Joining the prolific duo on stage at their shows on tour is DJ Niño. This unique combination goes by The Pinker Tones DJ Crew moniker and aims to create a distinct rock band meets DJ environment for the attendees. The act’s one-of-its-kind electro-pop blends dance inducing beats with a variety of genres and offers lyrics in a host of languages.
