Austin has a mind-blowing number of film festivals. In the last six weeks alone we've had the Austin Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, aGLIFF, The Austin Polish Film Festival and the Dismember the Alamo Zombie Film Fest--all of which were awesome. And beginning tomorrow, we'll have another reason to spend days on end at the movie theatre eating way too many nachos as the 4th Annual Austin Asian Film Festival kicks off.

Founded by UT Film Students Apostolos Papapostolos and Daniel Reyes in 2004, the festival aims to help cultivate a better understanding and appreciation of Asian cinema as art and culture. This year's festival will showcase nearly 60 features and shorts made by Asians and Asian Americans. And with Asia being such an enormous place, we're sure there'll be something to fit nearly every taste in the programming.

An all access badge is only $30, but if you're short on cash, you can still volunteer for the fest and get one for free.
