Tonight, Russian import and all-around cutie Regina Spektor will deliver her charming sense of humor and attitudinous tunes to Stubb’s. And if it feels like she was just here, it’s because she pretty much was, with an evening position at the Austin City Limits Festival followed up by an intimate performance for her ACL show taping—both of these happening less than two months ago. Could it be because she loves Austin? Quite possibly. Could it be because Austin loves her? We’d put money on it.

But there’s one little problem with that whole “puttin’ money on it” thing—the show is already sold out. That means you’d better fill out that dandy contest entry form if you want a chance to see the self-deprecating starlet up close. It’s either that or standing outside like an ass, hoping an angel will descend from heaven with the very pieces of thick-gauge rectangular paper you so desperately need. Good luck with that.

Opening up for Regina (who will be playing outdoors, so be prepared for the *shock* possible presence of this wacky time o’ year they call autumn) is Only Son, who has been praised far and wide for his dazzling lyrics and nice-boy stage presence—he also used to be lead guitarist for anti-folk deities The Moldy Peaches. Yeah, you won’t want to miss it.
