From One Longhorn to Another: Shaun Rogers Stiff-Arms Selvin Young

Former Longhorn Shaun Rogers made the NFL highlight reel this week when he intercepted a pass and showed the world what it looks like for a 340-pound man to run 66 yards while being chased by other large humans.

Rogers, now with the Detroit Lions, then added an exclamation point at the expense of another former Longhorn, Selvin Young of the Denver Broncos. As Young, who isn't a small man himself (he's listed at 207 pounds), came up for a late tackle, he ended up with a face-full of arm as Rogers delivered a vicious stiff-arm move before diving into the end zone.

Although Rogers and Young both played for UT, they were never part of the same team. Rogers played from 1997-2000, while Young played from 2002-2006. They are two of the 40 former Longhorns who are now NFL players or coaches.
