Freebies and Discounts for Massage Awareness Week

It’s National Massage Therapy Awareness Week. Who knew? Not us, until we heard about Massage Harmony’s week of discounts and freebies.

If you want a complimentary 10-minute massage or a gift certificate for $10 off, go to Massage Harmony or the Borders (both in the West Bank Shopping Center) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Austinist readers can also enter to win gift certificates for free massages after the jump.

Derrick Amoriko, owner of Massage Harmony, became interested in massage after finding relief for his chronic back pain.

“This week it is my goal to educate Austinites on the healing benefits of regular bodywork that made a huge impact on my life, while giving them a low-cost way to experience it for themselves,” Derrick says in a press release.
