#19 Texas (5-2) vs. Baylor (3-4)
Time: 11:30 am, Saturday, Oct. 20
Location: Floyd Casey Stadium, Waco
TV: Versus
Radio: KVET (98.1 FM, 1300 AM)
Baylor head coach Guy Morriss has had better weeks. First, one of his assistant coaches was caught pissing on the bar at a Waco saloon. Then Texas Monthly's Paul Burka began spreading the rumor that Morriss was on his way out. To top it off, Baylor takes on Texas on Saturday, and the Longhorns haven't lost to the Bears in nine years.
The bad week began hours after Baylor's 58-10 loss to Kansas. Bears assistant coach Eric Schnupp must have taken the loss particularly hard. He was ticketed, but not arrested, at 2:20 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct/reckless exposure after urinating on the bar at Scruffy Murphy's. Schnupp resigned on Thursday.
Morriss got more bad news early Thursday, when Burka said on Texas Monthly's Delay of Game sports blog that the Baylor coach was a "goner" and due to be replaced with former Bears standout Mike Singletary.
On Saturday, Morriss has to figure out how to beat a Texas team that has shut out the Bears three times in their last five meetings and has scored an average of 50 points a game against Baylor for the last nine years.

Game Notes
Turnover Turnaround: After not forcing any turnovers for two straight games, the Longhorns finally got two interceptions and a fumble against Iowa State last week. One of those interceptions was taken back for a touchdown by cornerback Brandon Foster. It was Foster's second interception for a TD this season, tying a UT season record.
Almost Ready to Bowl: A win on Saturday would be the Longhorns' sixth of the season, officially making the Longhorns eligible for a post-season bowl game. Texas has been to a bowl game in nine consecutive seasons.
Extended Rivalry: Texas began playing Baylor in 1901 and this will be the 97th meeting between the two schools. The Longhorns hold a 70-22-4 advantage over the Bears, having won the last nine meetings and 13 of the last 14. In the current win streak, four of those nine wins have been shutouts. Texas hasn't lost to Baylor under Mack Brown and has outscored the Bears 455-89 in that time.
Longhorn Injuries: Former Pflugerville High School star Antwan Cobb will miss the rest of the season and have surgery to repair a sprained anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee. Cobb suffered the injury against Iowa State. Defensive end Aaron Lewis (broken elbow) and fullback Luke Tiemann (broken wrist) are out for Saturday's game. Linebackers linebackers Rashad Bobino and Roddrick Muckelroy are listed as probable with ankle injuries.
Opponents to Watch: Quarterback Blake Szymanski has been the leader of Baylor's wide-open passing offense this season, but the sophomore is expected to miss Saturday’s game because of a mild concussion. John David Weed and Michael Machem have been splitting practice time this week and could both see action at quarterback on Saturday.
Finding the Versus Network: Saturday's game will be on Versus, which is carried by most cable and satellite systems.
