Super-last-minute AFF Updates and Schedule Changes!

Okay--so there are a bunch cool things happening at the Austin Film Festival tonight, and a we wanted to let you know about a few last-minute tidbits and screening changes.

*The Rebel is now playing at 9:45pm at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, NOT at the 9:30 Paramount slot we'd previously told you about.

*The awesome narrative feature and 2007 AFF "Film Jury Narrative Feature Winner" Shotgun Stories is now playing at 9:45pm at the Paramount Theatre with director Jeff Nichols in attendance. This film is great, and we're now officially huge fans of Michael Shannon, who impressed us in Bug last year, and who's also in AFF's closing night film, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

*The previously announced John Landis film Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project will have tickets available at the door, and producer Bob Engleman will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening. By all accounts, this is a very funny film, and apparently Bob has some fantastic stories to share. Tickets will be $8.00, available at the Regal Arbor thirty minutes prior to screening.

*Julian Schnabel's The Diving Bell and the Butterfly should also have tickets available for the 7pm screening at the Paramount. Schnabel also directed the brilliant biopic Basquiat, and we're super excited to see his newest film.
