It seems like a disproportionate number of your reviews/previews describe bands as "pop rock", "dance pop", "indie pop", "alt-pop", etc. Most of the time, I think you're trying to convey that the music has catchy melodies but that doesn't necessarily make a band "pop". All I'm saying is that a lot of the writeups seem formulaic because of these almost ubiquitous descriptions of at least one band per review/preview. Your work would be much more compelling with less generic terms, that's all.</p>
