Here are the words of whomever is the austinist film critic: "Frog Jesus is quite possibly the most fantastic short that we have seen ever. No, seriously. EVER. .......(it) was the story of a cyan tinted savior, fixed upon delivering the amphibious world from what was sure to be eternal damnation. There is a beat at the end, after which we guarantee that the audience will be belly laughing all the way through the credits."

You know, whether a sociologist, psychologist, economist, film critic, literary critic, etc, we should all strive for OBJECTIVITY in our analysis.

It's obvious that this critic has let his emotions, upbringing, religious/non-religious background, experiences, etc cloud his objectivity.

It's so apparent that the FROG is NOT the main character in this story and it's is NOT his trip that the writer was wanting the viewer to follow.

Maybe, just maybe, the boy represented a society, religion, or God forbid, a generic human characteristic that has manifested its' self throughout history!

So, I think that this reviewer should re-examine his motiviations in writing his reviews and see if his own personal experiences and beliefs are totally clouding his ability to interpret what he is seeing.

Lastly, to go and say that this film maybe "the most fantastic short that we have seen ever. No, seriously. EVER." goes to illustrate the depth of the writers biasness towards the MOTIVATIONS of the FROG and what the FROG represents. I'll let the READER fill in these blanks and be the judge as to whether I am presenting a biased analysis of what is going on here!

But, thanks for what you guys do! Your butts hang out there for all to shoot at when we disagree!
