Carlos Alazraqui hits Cap City

Funnyman Carlos Alazraqui is playing the Cap City Comedy Club this weekend, stating tonight. Familiar to most as Officer James Garcia on Reno 911!, Alazraqui also has a lengthy list of voiceover credits to his name: Nestor in the film Happy Feet, Mr. Crocker on The Fairly Odd Parents, Rocko on Rocko’s Modern Life, and Lube and Winslow on Cat/Dog. Also, perhaps infamously, “Yo Quiero Taco Bell.”

We had the chance to chit-chat with Carlos when he arrived in Austin on the red-eye from LA this morning. Dang, he's one eclectic dude! Who knew? Check back for a post of our conversation. In the meantime, pick up your tickets ($15-20) for one of this weekend's performances here.

this guy's stand-up is about as funny as my shoe.

Does your shoe do blue?

my shoe acts like it is embarrassed that it was in a national commercial for tacos and then completely panders to the audience that thinks the commercial was funny in the first place. my shoe beats unfunny dead horses with its, uh, shoe leather.

He is so hot! I wish Officer Garcia would do me in the butt.
