By the way, we didn't quit TLAC because the city wanted to do a Criminal Background Investigation on us. We quit because the city told us we had to give them our SSNs, even though they aren't needed for a CBI. We gave them full consent to run a CBI, but left our SSN off the form and were told we could no longer volunteer. We even offered to get a certified CBI at the courthouse, at our expense, but were told that wouldn't be accepted either.
