Minor correction: the SEU bat was found earlier this month on September 4. - an SEU student (I love Austinist! Keep up the good work!)

Nice link to the BS article about "Longhorn officials" knowing about the Henry investigation.

Talked to the cops, but no charges? No penalty. Oh, you got charged? Penalized.

Nothing wrong in how Mack handled OR handles things. You idiots should get back to reporting on the crap happening at Beauty Bar.

nothing in the post says they handled it incorrectly. it simply states that they knew about the investigation. is that false? no.

hell the first line of the article is
"Texas football coach Mack Brown says team officials knew that Austin police had been questioning running back James Henry in a criminal investigation as recently as August 20th."

how is it bs if it was confirmed by mack brown?

who's the idiot?

The family boarding thing was unfair to those who waited in line a long time, but practically speaking, it had to be done - are you really going to separately seat a parent from a 3-year-old because they're in group C?

PS: the new javascript for "Show Guest Comments" doesn't work with Firefox.

here's a charitable idea: take the $$$ that it costs to make a 10,000 lb burrito, and use it to supply local food pantries and such as.

While I applaud the attempt of Scott living on the streets to see what its like, he'll never actually understand it as he knows he has a warm bed to go home to whenever he wants to. Even if he were to do this for 2 years or more, he still knows that he will be going home at a some point and that he has money and that he probably has access to healthcare.
