<description>&lt;p&gt;I saw on Fox 7 that some guy from the sheriff&apos;s department was telling residents to flag down a passing officer or go to their local fire station in case of emergency.  Back in the day, we&apos;d call the police or fire department or hospital directly if we had an emergency.  Why aren&apos;t they telling people to do that now?&lt;/p&gt;</description>
