Atmosphere: Fuse Box is a brilliant discovery. Bright, clean and open. It's a bit tucked away inside the Dobie mall. Do yourself a favor - go find it.
Food: What makes this place a taste sensation? Salads are colorful and complex, offering an array of flavors that light up your mouth. The Bento Boxes come small and large- traditional Japanese style-with many tastes to savor. We ordered the roasted salmon and asparagus salad with sesame dressing (tangy and crisp); the tuna bento box (perfectly seared with wonderful sticky rice); and the grilled prawns with avocado and spicy melon (zippy and just-ripe). What’s most impressive about this casual find is the high-quality seafood and produce and the presentation is pretty outstanding, too. Meals are cooked to order in an open kitchen (always a good sign). Specialty juice drinks are featured every day and chocolate dipped fruit, usually strawberries or pineapple, are offered as departing gifts. How nice is that?
