#8, i tried to get Arcade Fire tickets today and the pickup point was the KLRU studios at the UT communications building. i was there less than 10 minutes after they were announced but they were all gone. sucks sucks sucks. oh well. there was also a sign (presumably from yesterday), saying that all Crowded House tickets had been given away. so same pickup point, probably. if only i had known ... i, too, would've waited in the line that apparently had formed outside the office. instead of on the drag, in my car, on the assumption that the pickup point could've been anywhere. - ash

I agree with Kenneth up there - it would be very, very nice if the Austinist fill us in on these ticket drops, not all of us have time to glue ourselves to radios...

I think it would be awesome if the crack staff at Austinist would post the time & place of ticket drops once they are announced (like Matt did last year).
