Austinist on Alert: Jessica Birge

Austinist is asking you to keep an eye out for a young lady who went missing over a week ago in South Texas.

Jessica Birge, age 25, was last seen on August 11, 2007 in New Braunfels at the Gruene Outpost River Lodge at around 10:00pm after tubing the Comal with friends.

She was last seen wearing a pink bikini and can be identified by a unique scroll tattoo on the back of her neck.

She was driving a dark green 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara, license plate K99-RNX.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is asked to contact the Comal County Sheriff's Dept and the Heidi Search Center

Jessica is an awesome person. She is nothing shy of inspirational, even in a glum office environment. She has a heart of gold and always tries to make people smile. I hope she is alright and wish her the best. -John

This is so sad. Jessica is such a gifted actress and sweet person. She was my resident assistant in college, even though we're the same age, and she inspired me to be an RA, too.
