Dismember The Alamo Zombie Film Festival
As yet more proof that zombies simply cannot be stopped, the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek will host the first annual Dismember the Alamo Zombie Festival this October. In true Alamo interactive spirit, this means they desire YOUR submissions featuring "human bodies devoid of their souls." The fest will be focusing on short films, but truly brain-melting feature lengths may be considered.
Eligibility-wise, they're looking for films completed after January 2004 (previously screened films are okay) and containing "a minimum of one undead zombie or deadite." Presumably you would want more than one undead zombie or deadite to portray the zombie scourge, but who knows? Maybe it's time to explore one zombie's individual journey on celluloid. Submissions must be postmarked by October 5th.
