Will Wynn Featured in This Month's Esquire

Austin mayor Will Wynn appears in this month's Esquire magazine modeling a $2,500 Prada suit as part of a photo feature on the nation's mayors.

Wynn tells the magazine that Austin's downtown building boom makes him feel like "Napoleon bulldozing medieval Paris." The biggest challenge of his job? Nope, not handing out money to iconic businesses, Wynn says it's "having to get used to, frankly, a lack of privacy."

Bulldozing the city. Richard Suttle must be very proud to hear the mayor say that. Whatever he's paying Will Wynn, it's worth it.

This guy is such a sleezeball. He's also an asshole though I've only had the displeasure of meeting him once.

unbelievable. i live downtown and this guy rolls out of the austin city lofts garage in his two door infiniti with the windows rolled down everyday looking around to see if anyone notices him. what a joke.

in certain ways, will wynn is napoleon. only in the fact that he wants to make waterloo his. thank god for term limits, but too bad there aren't more limitations on lobbyists since that is his next career move.

Note to every politician and wannabe:

You have voluntarily made it your business to stick your nose into the lives of the citizenry. Frankly, if you don't like the "lack of privacy", then shut your mouth and go find an honest job, you leech.

He seriously said that? You've got to be kidding me. I hope.

Yup – It's hard to bang your way through every blond resident of Downtown with a lack of privacy, indeed. Still hasn't stopped him though. Poor guy!
