Global Warming a Hot Hot Hot Topic at Paramount

hot-hot-hot_08-01-07.JPGMayor Will Wynn and writer/actor/director Turk Pipkin will tackle a hot topic (this one, not that one) this coming Monday as they host a special "Global Warming Q&A Session" between screenings of Pipkin's Nobelity and Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth at the Paramount Theatre.

Mayor Wynn loves talkin' climate change (he's a key member of the U.S. Mayors Council on Climate Protection, and in January, he trained with Al Gore to deliver the slideshow Gore made famous in An Inconvenient Truth), so it should be an interesting evening.

Pipkin (who, in our hearts, will always be known as "the guy who juggles ping-pong balls with his mouth in Waiting for Guffman") is also a fairly intriguing guy, and if you'd like to know more about him you can check out our interview with him from South by Southwest 06.

Nobelity & An Inconvenient Truth w/ Turk Pipkin and Mayor Will Wynn
Monday, August 6th
Paramount Theatre
Films at 7pm & 9pm, Q&A During Intermission at 8:30pm, $7
