That's true Scooby, and I am glad those people go elsewhere. Nothing worse than a kid screaming in your ear while trying to enjoy the air sex competitions.

Regarding S-CHIP ("Why would anybody veto children's health?")...

The same people who get all bent out of shape about NSA surveillance programs, government databases, etc. have no problem whatsoever with being enslaved to an ever-increasing government craddle-to-grave nanny state.

How 'bout instead of expanding the S-CHIP program and jacking up taxes, instead of just throwing more money at them, we fix the problems. A good place to start would be to allow individuals to get the same tax deduction employers get and buy their own healthcare insurance.

Other theaters are kept afloat by people with kids (At the Alamo, 18 & under are not normally allowed unaccompanied, and 6 & under are not allowed at all, with a few exceptions) and uptight people offended by such depravity as air sex competitions, QUEERIOS and demon rum beer & wine.

We should be thankful for those other theaters- they keep that sort of people off the street and away from the Alamo.

No kidding - how do the other movie theaters in town stay in business? Let's see, my choices for watching movies are: pay the same ticket price and buy bad popcorn and a soda, or go to Alamo and drink beer and good food.

CNN article's not too shabby, though it's got a gaping Alamo Drafthouse sized hole missing from it.
