Not sure how we missed this, but Miramax and Wild About Movies are presenting a free screening of SXSW 07 favorite Eagle Vs. Shark tonight at the Regal Arbor.
Though we haven't had the opportunity to see it yet, the New Zealand comedy got a lot of positive buzz during South By--and we loved the folks dressed in eagle and shark costumes walking around promoting it. Plus, it stars Flight of the Conchords member Jemaine Clement, which can only be a good thing.

Flight of the Conchords is a great show, and their stand-up is absolutely hilarious. I wish I could see this movie, but I'm not in town - any word on when / if it's going to have any more showings?
It's been in limited release for a while now. Wide release is planned soon, but a simple web search didn't yield a date, so I gave up.
the rsvp thing totally isn't working for me. :( hope they let me in anyway.
