Snapshots: The Sun Is Out!

For you Dell people that went to work before the sun came up or for you coffee shop crawlers who haven't looked out your tinted window in a while: THE SUN IS OUT! Hurry, catch what rays you can before that old friend comes in from L.A. for the summer with a blistered skin and a light orange hue.

All lakes in the tri-county area are still closed. Barton Springs Pool is closed today, but will be open tomorrow for the first time in almost a week. The Hike and Bike Trail is closed due to flooding. Most public pools are operating as usual, but who likes chlorine anyway? Your best best for a few hours of sun: Deep Eddy Pool is open all day.

i love chlorine anyway.

I was just on the hike and bike trail. There are just a couple detours. No big deal.

Yes, most of the hike and bike trail is open--and frankly, there are plenty of people who are ignoring the detour signs. Not me, of course.

Am I wrong to say that Deep Eddy is the only non-chlorinated place to swim in Austin?
