ban the circus! any "trained" circus animal is an abused animal. barnum and bailey are evil!--alison

You can see the elephants at the corner of 15th and I-35. Walk west on 15th along the chainlink fence. There's a spot where there's a gap in the posters the Circus peeps put up and you can look in at the elephants... eating hay, spraying their backs with dirt, and generally being elephant-y.

Those are zeedonks, my favoritist animal evah! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeedonk So sorry to have missed seeing them.

are those zebras just really dirty or what? i've never seen any zebras that brown, and their heads don't have stripes, either. maybe they're zorses? [http://www.thesun.co.uk/articl...] their body and leg stripes are pretty consistent though... hmm. weird! i totally want to go to the circus now.

i was stopped at a red light along i 35 around 10 pm last night and glancing casually to my right i saw an elephant staring back at me. freaked me right out, it did.

It happened around 7pm on Tuesday evening down Red River, and it may NEVER happen again.

BTW, the elephants pooped everywhere but a big truck cleaned it up.

When did this happen and when will this happen again and how do I get to see elephants roaming the streets of Austin?
