Emo's 15th Anniversary: Last Call

It's here it's the end it's almost over. These are the final days of Emo's 15th Anniversary Weekend, an eight-day extravaganza (of sorts) celebrating the 6th and Red River venue that is so near and dear to our hearts.
We tantalizingly talked it up, and you responded. In fact, rumors circulated that even those on the guest list for the sold-out Ghostland Observatory show couldn't get in. Whatevs, man -- there is still a chance to make it in past the shiny faces of the doormen.
The ruckus of the first five days continues tonight with the Glorium reunion show outside, featuring openers Faceless Werewolves and Horse + Donkey. Inside, New York's Gang Gang Dance and in the lounge, Scott H. Biram hold it down. Tomorrow night, Jerry's Kids (of Boston) rock the outside stage, while Moonlight Towers take inside and Meryll headlines the lounge. Finally, Sunday, Radio Birdman and Battles finish the weekend off with a bang. Since this is a weekend packed with local acts, we suggest you do your darnedest to show some love.

Seriously, Riverboat Gamblers, best show of the celebration. GLO is just another overrated Austin band. Why no love when RG played? Its all about the hype with Austinist, even if the band sucks ass.
