Music News Notes: Oh No! Oh My!, Mothfight!, Mark David Ashworth & More

Oh No! Oh My! are preparing to release their EP, Between the Devil & the Sea on Hollywood's Dim Mak (home to Datarock, the Rakes and more), oh August 7, and have a tour scheduled to support it. The exclamatory darlings will play shows with Au Revoir Simone, Let's Go Sailing! and the Deadly Syndrome. Mothfight are also hitting the road, an old-fashioned punk rock summer tradition, in support of their EP (their debut, and also a tour-only release). Our adoration of their design aside, we look forward to hearing what they've been working on in the studio, and have already marked our Gcals for June 29, when they'll be playing at Emo's as part of the Cue CD release extravaganza.

The Sparrow House Daytrotter Sessions are available for download. Songs were recorded at Big Orange and features "The Reflection", "Last Fall" and the previously unreleased "I Never Touch You".

The Corto Maltese are generating lots of local buzz with their catchy, Arcade Fire-ish tunes. They're playing tonight at Emo's, along with The Dark Romanitcs and Dignan. Maybe we'll see you there?
